This is probably why so many people make cereals a part of their first meal of  the day. There are a number of reasons why people are opting for a cereal  breakfast. Some have to do with taste, others are related to health  considerations. If one wants to control the level of cholesterol in the body or  wants to shed some excess weight, cereal breakfast can be part of the solution,  providing wholesome nutrition.</p>
<p>Nowadays there is a wide variety of  cereal-based foods. There are still some people who may have a perception that  cereal breakfast is a boring one. But, that does not have to be the case. Many  manufacturers of cereals already add such things as berries, fruits, raisins or  nuts. These can really enhance the flavor, and they can of course always be  added at the breakfast table to one`s own individual taste.</p>
<p>One important  thing that consumers ought to check when they are buying any cereal &#8211; not all of  them are sugar free or low on sugar. Many have added sugars, so it is good to be  aware of that before making a selection.</p>
<p>The fiber content present in a  cereal is yet another consideration for some people. Going in for a cereal breakfast is  definitely going to benefit those who are watching their weight, and without it  feeling heavy on the stomach.
